My name is Craig Host, and I am running for Greenvale Township Treasurer. In 2019, my significant other and I purchased a small acreage in Greenvale Township where we keep a couple of horses, a couple of dogs, enjoy sunrises and sunsets, keep a small garden and dabble in maple syrup production. I am currently a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor assisting people all over the county in refinancing or purchasing a new home. Prior to loan processing, I was a Personal Banker assisting people with their financial security. Before banking, I was a field archaeologist in the Southwest, Inter-Mountain west, and Midwest.

As Greenvale Township Treasurer, I will use my skills as a personal banker to keep the township financially secure and financially responsible to the township taxpayers. I believe clarity in the township documentation and keeping taxpayers informed on how their money is spent is key to their confidence and trust. As a field technician I learned the importance of detailed note taking for people succeeding me, and my time living in Greenvale Township has given me an appreciation for rural life and community. With these experiences, I believe I can help keep this community responsibly rural.
